Learn Baby Massage and Baby Yoga
As new parents we always wonder, “are we doing it all….the right way?”
Is your answer, “not sure…”? Well, there is no one right way, but definitely a combination of different ways to do it right with your baby!
At Nurturing Babies, we help you in your journey to change your answer from ‘not sure’, to a very confident “YES!”
We help you understand the importance of and enhance your, instinctive parenting skills. With these skills, it is inevitable that you bond with your baby like never before. Positive and mindful parenting techniques you learn will reduce the chances of stress the baby goes through when its discomfort is not understood.
Through our courses of ‘BABY MASSAGE’ and ‘BABY YOGA’ we teach you(new parents and expecting parents), the power of ‘TOUCH’ and the impact it has on your baby and you(the rush of oxytocin, during a baby massage, protects you from Postnatal Depression by 60%). This skill of baby massage and baby yoga will empower you with the knowledge of scientifically proven beneficial practices, for baby’s harmonious all-round development.
Nurturing Babies Aim is to ensure that our next generation of children grow into more secure, emotionally stable and loving adolescents and adults.
At Nurturing Babies we work along with you in accomplishing our Mission, of making this world a better place to live in, by filling it with happier, loving and caring individuals and families.

Baby Massage
Massage is a wonderful and special gift which parents can share with their babies. Baby massage is not a new phenomenon. It is an ancient art used in many diverse cultures to help with a variety of physical and emotional needs and to promote relaxation. Babies crave skin contact. Touch is a baby’s most developed sense at birth and parents can use it to communicate with their babies immediately.

Baby Yoga
As you all know, breathing exercises or Pranayama teach how you can recharge your body and control your mental state by regulating the flow of Prana – the life force. This helps you achieve a calmer and more focused mind, and increases your energy level.
Testimonials
I have just completed the 4 week baby massage course. Subhashini was fantastic right from the initial phone calls to the course itself. She made me feel really at my ease so I was able to look forward to going. The course is very baby led and there is such a relaxed atmosphere, there is no issue if your baby cries, needs feeding or just doesn’t want to be massaged that day. My little girl was 13 weeks when we started and she absolutely loved it. The course is very well structured, building up the different techniques week by week including rhymes that you can use when massaging. The supporting literature is also very helpful and high quality which is great to refer to at home if you forget anything. Subhashini is incredibly well informed and explains in detail the benefits of baby massage and how each technique will help your baby. Each week there is further information helping you to understand why the particular massage will help and when it would be useful to use. After every session my baby would fall asleep – in fact one week all the mums went for a coffee after the course and all the babies fell asleep together! The reason that I attended the course was that, although she was a good night sleeper, my baby rarely slept during the day and found it hard to wind down. Now, having incorporated baby massage into my daily nap time routine each day I am happy to say that my little girl is now taking daytime naps as well. In fact, I am posting this message whilst she sleeps soundly. I cannot recommend this course highly enough- I really looked forward to it each week and am sad that it is over, but the techniques are invaluable and have helped immensely. Subhashini is a fantastic course leader and I enjoyed the informative chats after the massage, over a cup of tea, just as much as the course itself
I attended all 4 the sessions with Nurturing Babies and I must say I and my son thoroughly enjoyed it. Getting to meet other moms really made me look forward to the classes. Though my son was already four months old while other babies were much smaller, he benefitted a lot from baby massage. I saw that he slept better and his appetite also increased. Massage time is a totally fun time for both of us now, unlike before when I used to massage him (learnt by watching the malish lady). The difference of this, I would like to mention here is like, learning to swim when thrown into a pool and learning swimming from a professional coach. Well taught skill is way better than learning something randomly and worse so doing the strokes without even knowing the benefits and not understating the harm of doing the strokes wrong. This dying baby care regime was really not well understood by me initially. I feel Subhashini is really good at teaching the benefits and importance of baby massage and ensuring we learnt the strokes correctly. I suggest all new mothers and pregnant ladies to definitely do this course.
Hi, I and my husband learnt the baby massage and baby yoga course with Nurturing Babies. I have twin girls and they were just 7 weeks old when we took a private, one to one session with Subhashini. We thoroughly enjoyed the classes, especially my husband. We realised how well he was able to connect with our girls and felt the bond grow stronger in many folds. We understood our daughters needs better as we learnt to sharpen our instincts and learnt to be better responsive parents through this course. Baby yoga was very relaxing, fun and our babies have definitely benefitted the most from all this. The yogic breathing and a couple of baby developmental play exercises were lots of fun and the instructor briefed us about each movements benefits. Overall, it was worth every bit, and I, strongly recommend parents this course.
